Before pouring through photo after photo to visualize the floral design for your wedding, consider these small ‘tidbits” of advice in choosing the color and design that compliment your style and personality.

  • Consider the season in which you are getting married.

Many times, a bride will choose a flower that isn’t in season. She may have her heart set on a fabulous tropical flower, but doesn’t realize that certain flowers bloom only during certain seasons of the year. If you have your heart set on a flower, but are not sure of its availability, check with your florist. She can guide you through this process and may either be able to have the flower imported or give you other options within your color palette.

  • Weed out the excess opinions.

Sometimes having too many opinions involved can add more stress than is necessary. If you begin entering into the non-decisive realm, Have your florist or wedding coordinator guide you through photos to help you find the best design and color scheme that will suite your style and personality.

  • Choose a color palette that compliments your personality.

Bold and vibrant, classy and traditional, chic and trendy – whatever your personality, allow it to flow into your design scheme. There is no better feeling than to look back on your wedding day and know that I best mirrored your style and personality. This is the day you’ve been planning since you were a little girl, make it your own!
